During my recent city break, I had the pleasure of staying at the Tan Hotel - Special Category in Istanbul, a gem nestled right in the Sultanahmet district, just a stone's throw from historical marvels like the Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. The warmth of the staff, particularly the ever-helpful Ibrahim, made our experience truly memorable, as he went above and beyond to ensure we didn't miss a planned excursion. We reveled in the hotel's exceptional rooftop terrace, which not only provided breathtaking views of the Blue Mosque but was also a perfect spot to enjoy a delightful breakfast featuring fresh, healthy options and great coffee. The cleanliness of the hotel, along with the comfortable rooms, enhanced our stay, allowing us to relax after a day of exploring the city. The hotel's central location facilitated easy access to major attractions while the availability of free tea and coffee throughout the day created a welcoming touch. I fondly look back on our visit and wholeheartedly recommend the Tan Hotel for travelers seeking a unique blend of comfort, history, and hospitality in the heart of Istanbul.
